Attitude of Gratitude!

Hi

Kim and I listen to a lot of interviews and read a lot of books.

In between the ones about the intricacies of the hip joint or yet another science of fat loss we also get the mindset, focus and business success ones.

Studying how successful people start, plan their day and also the practices they follow is fascinating.

You would have thought that they fly through really busy days and that their success is indicative of the amount of money they are making.

WRONG!

A successful day to nearly all, well actually ALL, of them is one which contains time for themselves to clear the mind, focus, train the body and note down the actions they need to do.

Of course being the top dog, having a PA and a gym and a pool at home will make this easier, although remember that they didn't always have all this and they started from nothing too.

Whatever success is to you, people who are successful work really hard at being the best they can be.

Top performers are open minded, flexible, authentic, focused and above all else, GRATEFUL.

They work hard on being grateful for what they have, the people around them and the life they lead

They are not generally cut throat, hard nosed and rule their empires with an iron fist. With the internet and suchlike transparencies these days, those types are dwindling!

True success comes from freedom to live life and to be grateful and content with where you are

Nearly every one of them says that they do one, or all, of the following at some point in their day:
  • fill out a gratitude journal every morning
  • meditate
  • work their body
  • write down the missions for the day
This is it, no drumming up new clients, answering 500 emails an hour or shouting at their employees.

Its about be grateful and getting themselves in tune with what works for them.

Rushing about makes us stressed and creates busy fools, being stressed takes us out of a creative or productive mind set most of the time.

Having a clear mission and being grateful for the opportunity makes each task a pleasure PLUS we become aware that we can only do ONE thing at a time so why stress about it!

Grab a blank notebook and every day answer the below questions every (pen and paper works best as the tangible aspect drills it home):
  1. what or who am I grateful for?
  2. what is my mission for the day?
You will always find something. Avoid the temptation to just think this, write it down and refer back.

It starts a process that really can direct you towards becoming a heart centric individual.

Ticking off each 'mission' daily also creates a winning trajectory!
