Multi tasking always ends badly..especially in health!

Hi

How many times have you heard someone say they are a great 'multi-tasker'?

I personally think it is totally the opposite of being productive. I used to think I was doing it well but ended up with many plates spinning all in different directions and finish my day with lots of bits of various tasks done but nothing done well.

It is like having 9 windows open on your laptop all at once..mine usually crashes in this scenario.

This is some stressful stuff IMO..

One day a few years ago I heard this simple quote:

'One by one'

Do one thing well, finish it then do the next. Simple.

As I alluded to in previous emails, when it comes to health it's so important to have a realistic destination in mind, however the path we take is flexible and changeable.
  • focus on ONE change until you own it, then move to the next.
  • if you are truly zoned in on ONE thing, and taking action, you are present and responsive.
We see it repeatedly in health and fitness. Enthusiastic people hard set on making a change with millions of new activities they want to take on. Of course it is inspiring to see, yet the more successful are the ones who have taken stock of what they can realistically commit to (time or resources) and use these well with a laser focus on ONE thing at a time.

Close down those 'windows',
