If you answered this straight away then it's likely you have found your calling and have possibly based your entire career around this.
As a coach I look for training 'superpowers' in
people all the time.
- One client may be incredible at deadlifts yet can't sprint
- One client may have lost loads of fat mass yet can't put muscle on easily
- One client may have the organisational power that puts us to shame however skips sessions due to motivation issues
We can't
all be amazing at everything, so........
'Everyone can be your superior in some way or other'
Everyone can teach you something AND everyone can learn off you! Could you contain inside you the ability to propel yourself and others forward...I think so!
Can
you use your superpower to get you fit and healthy?
- Could you motivate yourself to get into the gym more if you put your superpower of writing to a daily blog to help others join you in the ride?
- Could you use your accountancy skills to create a 'balance sheet' for energy expenditure and then 'invest and save' yourself to fitness
- Could being
a busy Mum already provide you with a network to start a Mum and Kids walking group?
- Could your love of cooking help you create an 'exercise recipe' that you create for yourself weekly?
It's these type of things that could be the ticket to your success and in turn even a business or a book!
It's how I started and probably 99% or
the fitness industry did too.
In the beginning, just as it is important to have and celebrate small successes, it is vital to recognise your strengths that you have built in....and use them to smash any doubts you have.
Personal Training is not about exercise programs as it is as much about lighting little fires of beliefs in our
clients.
We KNOW what you are capable of, the superpower of a good PT is whether we can convince you that you can do it!
Make a new superpower of being very good at finding and nurturing all those in side you waiting for an awakening
That thing you have been putting off? Take
action!
J
P.S.
We need your superpowers!
