The health & fitness industry is dead...

Hi

Today I am sharing an article on the link at the bottom

It is a really important read, both for health professionals, and general population alike.

Kevin Geary is a fitness professional that gets it.

Like me he has fought his way back from poor health through the barrage of information.

This is an excellent article that really doesn't hold back on what is wrong, and what needs to change, in everyone's approach to fitness and the industry as a whole.

As a new PT ten years ago I thought just knowing my stuff about muscles and barbells would get results for my clients..how wrong I was, we need to do more.

Of course knowledge is important, however it is getting into and addressing the emotional aspect of why people (including myself) went wrong so much that makes the biggest impact.

As you may of noticed in my previous emails...we believe it is your positive mindset and behaviour that deliver good results. It can seem that it is monumentally hard to change your behaviour when you only see that huge change. If you focus in each small step and 'win' you will see the changes as they happen and these are huge successes when it comes to your path.

The 'trees' are the 'cover model body' you think you want. The 'wood' is the small successes, day by day, minute by minute. Ignore these and your subconscious will too

1% (yes only 1%!) of people get it right and reach excellent, sustained health on their fitness journey..the rest fall short due to wrong, conflicting information and overall procrastination.

You CAN join the 1%

Find the right people to follow which stand out as being wise and that have trodden the path before.

'Get healthy to lose weight (fat) NOT lose weight to get healthy'

Follow this rule and ignore all the noise, quick fixes, diets and fitness gurus that are empty vessels..and go find the real authentic wisdom out there!
